Steps

⚠️ In order write prescriptions your organisation admin should have assigned you a prescriber seat, your organisation should have been set up and validated, you should have set up your Prescriber account and you should have added a verified patient

Select Medication, and search for your Medication and select your pack and then PBS. Other options are below:

Prescription Options On Prescribing Screen

Select Search by Brand to search by brand name
Select Prescribe as Brand Name to append a specific brand name to the end of the active ingredient, i.e. amoxicillin 1 g tablet, 14 (Maxamox)
Select Brand Substitutions Not Allowed if you want the pharmacist to only dispense a specific brand of medication

Select the route of administration, or add a custom instruction in, add patient instructions and any Authority Code along with any other fields you would like to include and click Add Medication. Similar to a written prescription, certain medications, like S8 drugs, require additional mandatory fields. These fields will be automatically prompted for you to complete.
Choose either Email or Paper then click Confirm
You will see a loading screen, once Prescription created successfully appears, your prescription has been successfully created
