The checks will run automatically in the background for relevant drugs prescribed through MIMS.
Steps
In this example we will prescribe Dexamfetamine sulfate 5mg. Search for the drug and select the relevant PBS code or Private
Input your patient instructions and other fields as usual
Input your Phone Authority Approval Number
Then choose your Script delivery option. The check will now be performed in the background.
You will then receive an alert, and you have the option to either check your state portal, or proceed to finalise your prescription
Government ePrescribing guidelines require you to re-authenticate prior to prescribing an S8.
You will then be taken to your script confirmation screen, click "CONFIRM" to confirm your script, or go back to make edits
