Steps

⚠️ In order write prescriptions your organisation admin should have assigned you a prescriber seat, your organisation should have been set up and validated, you should have set up your Prescriber account and you should have added a verified patient

  1. Select New Prescription on your patient's profile

  2. Search for your medication. The default selection is to search by Active Ingredient, however you may also search by Brand, write an Extemporaneous Script, or search your custom drug database.

    • Prescribe By Active Ingredient/Brand

      1. Search In Bar (toggle Search by Brand to search by Brand Name)

      2. Select the drug from list

      3. Select the Product Pack

      4. Choose the patient's funding type:

        • Choose a PBS Code if PBS reimbursed

        • Leave PBS Code blank and check either Private Prescription or Unlisted RPBS Medication for these funding types

    • Search Custom Drugs

      1. Select Custom

      2. Search by either brand name or active ingredient

      3. Select the relevant drug from the list. If this is an extemporaneous compound, continue below to finalise your extemporaneous prescription.

    • Create Extemporaneous

      1. Select Custom



      2. Check Extemporaneous

      3. Input the Generic Name, Form, Strength and Route of Administration, as well as select a PBS code if relevant. These fields need to be correctly formatted. You may also upload regularly used custom drugs to your organisation or as an individual prescriber.

  3. Check the route of administration, add patient instructions and any Authority Code along with any other fields you would like to include and click Add Medication. Similar to a written prescription, certain medications, like S8 drugs, require additional mandatory fields. These fields will be automatically appear for you to complete.

  4. Click Add Medication To Prescription

  5. Choose SMS, Email, or Print

  6. Review The Prescription and Click Confirm If Correct

  7. You will see a loading screen, once Prescription created successfully appears, your prescription has been successfully created
