How to send a prescription directly to a pharmacy?

This article describes setting up an organisation pharmacy list and then selecting which pharmacy to email the prescription to.

This feature is scheduled for release on Monday the 18th of May 2026

Adding or amending organisation wide pharmacy lists is restricted to users with Admin capabilities only.

Adding or amending organisation wide pharmacy lists is restricted to users with Admin capabilities only.

  1. Go to Settings > Pharmacies

Adding A New Pharmacy

  1. Click Add Pharmacy

  2. Fill in the pharmacy's name and email and click Add

Deleting A Pharmacy

  1. Click Delete on the list

  2. Confirm by clicking Delete again

Sending To Pharmacy

Write your prescription per usual

  1. Go to the Prescribe Only, you may have to click the down if send to pharmacy is not set as your default

  2. Select your pharmacy from the drop down

  3. Click Write Script (the button copy and instructions for this section are customisable for your organisation, so it could say "Send To Pharmacy" or whatever suits your flow, you can see how to change this here)
