The PDS is down and I cannot write a prescription? – Parchment Help Centre

If you are receiving an error message stating that the PDS is down, the government software that we link into may be down

Steps

⚠️ ERX is the third party government software that connects Parchment to the pharmacies to dispense medication. In the rare event that their service is down, we are unable to fix that but will log this with them.

Check the service performance for eRX Script Exchange:
- If the script exchange is down, wait a couple of minutes and try again. This means there is a problem with ERX, not Parchment
- If the script exchange is not down, log out then log in and try again and log a problem with Parchment.
