Steps

⚠️ In order write prescriptions your organisation admin should have assigned you a prescriber seat, your organisation should have been set up and validated, you should have set up your Prescriber account and you should have added a verified patient, including their DVA number. If you do not know your patient's DVA number you (or a delegate) can look this up via PRODA

Navigate to new Prescription for a Veteran patient. Patient should have a validate DVA number on file
Search for the Medicine you wish to prescribe, there is no need to select a PBS code
Check Unlisted DVA Medicine? and proceed to finalise your referral
You will be required to input a Phone Authority Number before proceeding

Once inputted, Click Add to Prescription and Proceed
