The Australian Government has implemented security measures to ensure that only authorised Organisations and Providers can issue electronic prescriptions. Setting this up can be challenging (we experienced this firsthand when setting up our own clinics without guidance). To make the process easier, we’ve provided detailed step-by-step instructions with screenshots to help you set up your account with us and navigate PRODA.
Steps
⚠️ To set up your organisation you should be the Organisation Owner in Parchment, and have a valid HPI-O. If you do not have an HPI-O you will need to apply for one. You will also need to have linked your HPI-O to Parchment's CSP # in PRODA. |
- Get Started For Free, and sign up for a new account
- Go to Settings > Organisation > Edit
- First, follow these steps to to connect your organisation's HPI-O to Parchment's CSP in PRODA
- Input your organisation's HPI-O number and click VALIDATE
- Input your Organisation Details and Select Update
- Input your Address and Select Update
- If you are Integrating with your Practice Management Software, you will need to generate a key, input it in relevant integration field and click VALIDATE
Check if your Practice Management Software is integrated with Parchment
- Your organisation is now set up. Now you can now:
