The Australian Government has implemented security measures to ensure that only authorised Organisations and Providers can issue electronic prescriptions. Setting this up can be challenging . To make the process easier, we’ve provided detailed step-by-step instructions with screenshots to help you set up your account with us and navigate PRODA.
Steps
⚠️ To set up your organisation you should be the Organisation Owner in Parchment, and have a valid HPI-O. If you do not have an HPI-O you will need to apply for one. Any healthcare clinic can apply for an HPI-O, as long as you have the correct documents.
Firstly, sign up for a new account if you have not already done so. The remaining steps for you to complete are conveniently located on your dashboard, with details on how to do so below.
Go to Settings > Organisation > Edit
Connect your organisation's HPI-O to Parchment's CSP in PRODA. You will be unable to validate your HPI-O number in Parchment until this is completed.
Input your organisation's HPI-O number and click VALIDATE
Input your Organisation Details and Select Update
Input your Address and Select Update
If you are Integrating with your Practice Management Software, you will need to generate a key, input it in relevant integration field and click VALIDATE. Check if your Practice Management Software is integrated with Parchment
