Integrating with Nookal will allow you to create a new patient, and open that patient within Parchment to write a script straight from your Nookal
⚠️ To integrate with you should have appropriate security permissions in Nookal and an admin security role in Parchment.
Setting Up Your Integration With Nookal
1. Activate Integration & Generate API Key In Nookal
Go To Setup > Integrations In Nookal
Scroll down until you see the Parchment Add-On, toggle enable to on and click configure
Copy the API key (Command/Ctrl + C or Right Click and Copy)
Keep your API key safe, and delete it after you have uploaded this to Parchment. Do not share this with anyone as it allows someone access to your account
2. Add the API to Parchment
⚠️ To do complete this step you should have the admin security role (Admin).
In Parchment, go to your organisation settings by clicking Settings > Organisation > Edit
Scroll down until you see the Nookal integration and click Manage
Paste your API key into the area and click Submit
After Pressing Submit
If you see a success message, you are ready to go, click close.
If you see an error message, you likely have not copied the entire key, check you have the entire key copied, and if you continue to you experience an error, reach out to us for help.
You may also tell if your integration is set up if the green toggle is on below. You may now create a new patient straight from Nookal
You are now set up, now you can create patients and write prescriptions straight from Nookal!
Deleting your integration or adding a new API key
1. Delete your integration in Parchment
You may want to delete your Nookal integration or add a new key, to do this simply follow the same instructions above to get to your Nookal Integration Tile.
Click Manage
Click Delete
Your key will be cleared so you may then either add a new key, or turn off your integration altogether.
