My HPI-I is not linked in PRODA?

Need to link your HPI-I to PRODA? Here’s how to check, update, or manually apply if you’re not AHPRA-registered.

Updated today

If you’re a doctor, your HPI-I (Healthcare Provider Identifier–Individual) needs to be linked in PRODA to access services like My Health Record.

To link your HPI-I:

  1. Make sure you’re registered with AHPRA – your HPI-I is automatically created from this.

  2. If you’re not AHPRA-registered, apply for an HPI-I manually via HPOS.

  3. Log in to PRODA > go to HPOS > Select “My Details” and confirm or update your linked HPI-I.

If your HPI-I isn’t found, double-check your AHPRA registration status or contact Services Australia.
